These photographs were commissioned by Dr. Sud, shot in his private studio at Berlin’s Funkhaus. The idea was to build a set of portraits that feel both intimate and functional — images he can use for club flyers, festival announcements and individual projects.
I worked with the existing acoustics and architecture of the room, using directional light and deep shadows to carve out his presence against the equipment and space. The focus is on gesture and atmosphere rather than static poses: hands on knobs, moments of concentration, and the way his body sits inside the studio’s glow.
The result is a small library of artist images that can move between contexts — from social media banners to event posters — while still feeling rooted in the place where his sound is actually made: Funkhaus.
